Fell a little short this week, but I’m blaming the concert that took up my entire Saturday and my zombie finger making it hard to type. Haha.
But I’ve been working on my business plan and I really like where it’s going. I’ll be continuing on with that this week as well as making a plan for NANOWRIMO. I’ve decided to try it out by rewriting one of my older stories. I don’t know if that technically counts since it’s not a new story, but I’ll be writing the words fresh and I haven’t looked through the book in over ten years, so it will feel pretty new. And I think it will be a way to include old books into my writing plans.
Blog work this week is book thoughts and then I only have a few more posts to draft before the end of the year. And next year will start the new format. Very exciting.
I’ll be continuing edits on Birds 2 and the Non Fiction project this week. I skipped prowriting aid last week so I need to get it done this week so I can start the All Signs edits next week. And just cause the launch date is approaching and I don’t want to fall short.
Closing in on the ending of the second witch book and I roughed out an outline for the next book. And then I’ll be free to outline my next project. I’m aiming for a true horror novel and not just a thriller. I’m a little intimidated by it, but can’t wait to get underway.
I slowed down on reading last week though and only finished one book. I’m only about forty pages away from finishing another, but I think I’m a little drained. My reading speed this year has been intense and I know I need to spend more time on it instead of rushing through as many books as I can. I’m going to include that on my plans for next year, to read more intentionally. I’ll still do the audiobooks quickly, but if I really like a story, I’m going to read it a second time more thoroughly. I’m going to ask for a kindle scribe for Christmas, so if I don’t have the physical copy of a book, I can still do my notes and tabs while I do the second read. Ideally I’d like to have all the books in my library, but it’s not always realistic.
Well, gotta get the littles ready for trick-or-treating and finish my business work for the day.
